Raymond Eugene Williams Jr., 58, of Steubenville, OH, passed away at 10:36 PM on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh, PA.

Raymond was born on August 5, 1957 in Follansbee, WV. He was the son of the late Raymond E. Williams Sr. and Marcella Gleason.

Raymond worked many years for Checker Cab Company as a driver. Many will remember Raymond for loving to watch TV, playing slot machines, going to the Drive-In; but most of all, being a good Samaritan to everyone.

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded to by his aunt, Fannie Palizzi.

Raymond is survived by his brother, Earl (Amy) Williams of Hookstown, PA, two nephews, Jesse and John Orison, an uncle, Ray (Jeanie) Hunter of Wellsburg, WV, an aunt, Corene Keeder of Steubenville, OH, and his best friend, George Ghrist of Steubenville, OH.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 12 Noon until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717, with Pastor Joy Leasure, officiating.
