Evelyn (Deuley) White, 90, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 5:23 AM on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at her residence under the care of her family and Valley Hospice.

Evelyn was born on March 10, 1926 in Follansbee, WV. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Pearl (Legler) Deuley.

Evelyn retired after 43 years of service at Eagle Manufacturing, Wellsburg, WV. She attended the Wellsburg Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her dear husband, Robert G. White, an infant grandson, Kirk White, a step-mother, Francis “Faye” Deuley, an uncle and aunt Charles and Mary Deuley, who raised Evelyn, two brothers, James and Ross Dorsey, and a sister, Bernice Chappell.

Evelyn is survived by her two children, Robert A. (Nancy) White and Evelyn “Susie” White, all of Wellsburg, WV, four grandchildren, Amy Hannahs, Kathy Langely, Stacie Loy, and Brian White, five great grandchildren, Adreanne, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Andrew, and Destiny, a brother, Arnold Dorsey of Texas, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304) 737-3551, with Reverend Brian Knight, Officiating of the Wellsburg Nazarene Church.

Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
