Obituary for Harry Orval Moore Sr.

Harry Orval Moore Sr., 77, of Toronto, OH, passed away at 6:00 PM on March 29, 2017 at Trinity Medical Center ER, Steubenville, OH.

Harry was born on December 12, 1939 in Colliers, WV. He was the son of the late Charles Orval and Ida Belle (Hall) Moore.

Harry was member of the Jehovah Witnesses and attended meetings at the Kingdom Hall, Follansbee, WV. He retired after 30 years of service as a food truck driver for Brooke County Schools. Many will remember Harry for his love of camping.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his two brothers, Daniel and Robert Moore.

Harry is survived by his wife, Martha A. (Motto) Moore of Toronto, OH, six children, Harry (Sue) Moore of Follansbee, WV, Lee Ann (Fred) Hayman of Toronto, OH, Virginia (Rob) Price of Poland, OH, Valerie (Tony) Pashke of Weirton, WV, Michael Moore of Colliers, and William “Bill” (Becky) Moore of Weirton, WV, nine grandchildren, Levi, Tyler, twins Ashley and Alicia, Dylan, Sarah, Mary, William and Daniel, a brother, Alvin (Sue) Moore of Virginia, two sisters, Sally Cox of Kansas and Judy Moore of Colliers, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 10:00 until time of Service at 11:00 AM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717, with Jack Ignace.

Interment will follow at Independence Cemetery, Independence, PA.
