Betty Lou (Emerick) Coen, 78, of Follansbee, WV passed away at 6:36 AM on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
Betty was born on February 4, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Louise (Wilson) Emerick.
Many will remember Betty for her love of singing and listening to Elvis Presley.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Mozingo, a grandson, four siblings, Margaret Mascrow, Earl Emerick, Rose Willas and Robert Emerick.
Betty is survived by her husband, David Neal Coen of Follansbee, WV, seven children, James Robert Hood and his wife, Dawn of Illionis, Lila Miller and her husband, Bill of Follansbee, WV, Theresa McFall and her husband, Dan of Empire, OH, David Hood of Weirton, WV, Rick Coen of Weirton, WV, Brenda McGee and her fiancee, Tony Bomboris of Colliers, WV and David P. Coen and his fiance, Darlene Shaffer of Follansbee, WV, 12 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a sister, Jean Kosarik of Burgettstown, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 4:00-7:00 PM and again on Monday, April 15, 2019 from 10:00 until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717, with Funeral Chaplain, Reverend Sharon Van Dam, officiating,
Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV.
