Obituary for Brett Edward Gelder
Brett Edward Gelder, 38 of Follansbee, WV, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his residence.
Brett was born on March 12, 1982 in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of William James Gelder and Karen Lynn (Chappell) Gelder of Follansbee, WV.
Brett worked in media as an operator. Many will remember him for his love of shooting pool, riding his quad, eating pizza and drinking beer with his buddies.
In addition to his parents, Brett is survived by his brother, Brandon Gelder, two aunts, a uncle and numerous friends to include Steven and Crystal Clifton, who he considered family.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 2:00 PM until time of Service at 3 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717.
Please note that limited access and social distancing will be in place during the visitation. All attendees will be required to wear a mask or face covering. In addition, if you are unable to attend or not feeling well, please consider sending a card or leaving an online condolence.
