Obituary for Carolyn Irene Michaux (Howearth)
Carolyn Irene (Howearth) Michaux, 79 of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 6:28 PM on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at her residence under the care of her family with the assistance of Valley Hospice.
Carolyn was born on January 5, 1941 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Willavene (Frayer) Howearth.
Many will remember Carolyn for her love of exercising through walking and biking daily with her friend Thelma , being a member of the Wellsburg Moose and Women of the Moose. She enjoyed having a cold beer at the Moose after a long day.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Heidi DiMarzio.
Carolyn is survived by her loving and dedicated husband of 55 years, Jack R. Michaux of Wellsburg, WV, four children, Tammy Knox and her husband, Jeff of Follansbee, WV, Cindy English and her husband, Rod of North Port, FL, Candi DiMarzio and her husband Vince of Manassas, VA, and David Michaux of Rotonda West, FL, seven grandchildren, Alicia VanSickel and her husband Brandon of Follansbee, WV, Nicholas Stillson of Stoney Beach, MD, Ryan Knox of Follansbee, WV, Hunter Wees of Belmont, OH, Dana Franklin and her husband Nate of Manassas, VA, Brittany DeFede and her husband Michael and Shanna Mate and her husband Ken of Rotonda West, FL, six great grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Rosenwald, Bethany Carter, Carson VanSickel, Jayden Jaggers and Alexander Franklin, a loving and caring sister, Robin Stewart and her husband, Delbert of Wellsburg, WV and nieces and nephews.
