Obituary for Cheryl Kae Bullock (Sayre)
Cheryl Kae (Sayre) Bullock, 70 of Follansbee, WV, passed away 3:11 PM on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV after a long fought battle.
Kae was born November 26, 1949 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of the late Francis “Tank” Sayre Sr. and Peggy (Black) Sayre.
Kae retired as a Bus Driver and Aid from the Brooke County School System after 25 years. Many will remember Kae for her bubbling sense of humor and personality along with all of the hobbies including jewelry and stain glass window making; but most of all, for her love of John and her family.
In addition to her parents, Kae was preceded in death by her son, Shane Lazear, a brother, Francis E. “Tankie” Sayre Jr. and a brother-in-law, Ronnie Means.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 27 years, John Bullock, a son, Shawn Lazear Sr. and his wife, Tracy, all of Follansbee, WV, five grandchildren, Alicia Lazear, Shawn Lazear Jr., Kayla McAllister and her husband, Aaron, John Michael Lazear and his companion, Meikka Buffo and Shane Lazear, 11 great grandchildren, Rylee, Chloe, Jase, Jaiden, Connor, Adeline, Gavin, Brooke, Sadie, AJ and Michael, two sisters, Della Means of Wellsburg, WV and Bobbie Jean Gibon of Follansbee, WV, a sister-in-law, Marlene Sayre of Beech Bottom, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 5:00 until time of Funeral Service at 7:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717 with Jack Horvath, officiating.
