Obituary for Christopher Howard Keenan
Christopher Howard Keenan, 40, of Irondale, OH, passed away 7:52 AM on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA after a short illness.
Christopher was born on June 15, 1978 in Weirton, WV. He was the son of Paul Keenan and his wife, Dawn of Follansbee, WV and Tina (Bennett) Keenan of Parkersburg, WV.
Christopher was Nazarene by denomination of faith. He worked as a security guard for Timet. Many will remember Christopher for his love of baseball being a coach for peewee’s, hunting, fishing, bowling, dirt car racing; but most of all, for being a Steelers, Pirates, and WVU Fan and family man.
In addition to his father, step-mother, and mom, Christopher is survived six children, Sondra Workman, Christina Keenan, Sierra Bennett, Dakota Bennett, Jaiden Keenan and Chrislynn Keenan, two siblings, twin sister, Deanna Godwin and her husband, Kenny, and Angel Keenan, four nieces, twins, Mariah and Raven, Jasmin, and Desiree, a nephew, Griffin and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 10:30 until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717.
Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV.
