David Curtis Wilson, 85 of Wellsburg, WV passed away at 2:10 PM on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Brightwood Center, Follansbee, WV, with his loving wife by his side.

David was born on April 30, 1934 in Wellsburg, WV.  He was the son of the late Frederick Wilson Sr. and Martha Lucille (Roney) Wilson.

David was graduate of Bethany High School. He went on to serve as security and military police as an E-6 Technical Sergeant retiring with over 23 years of service in the United States Air Force. After his military career, David drove school bus for the Brooke County School System for 15 years.  He was a member of the Hooverson Heights Church of Christ.  Many will remember David for his enjoyment of bowling, fishing and playing cards.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death his brother, Frederick Wilson Jr.

David is survived by his loving wife, Hazel (Woods) Wilson of Wellsburg, WV, a daughter, Penny DeSimone and her husband, Mark of Follansbee, WV, two grandchildren, Patrick DeSimone and his wife Morgan of Weirton, WV and Christopher DeSimone of Follansbee, WV, two great grandchildren, Lilah and Xander, a sister, Mary Ellen Paulton of Florida and many nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 11:00 until time of Memorial Service at 11:30 AM at the Hooverson Heights Church of Christ, 100 Church Street, Follansbee, WV, with Minister Jason Roberts, officiating.

Interment will be held privately at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA
