Obituary for Debra Pauline Cooper (Clouser)
Debra Pauline (Clouser) Cooper, 67 of West Alexander, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 24, 2021.
Debra was born on April 24, 1954 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of the late Lenus Carl Clouser and Margaret Jane (Schupbach) Clouser.
Debra served her country proudly in the United States Army as a Specialist 4 receiving the National Defense Service Medial. She was a member of the Claysville American Legion. Debra worked as a supervisor in the cleaning department at Pittsburgh International Airport. Many will remember Debra for her enjoyment of crafting, the care of cats always trying to find them a home, camping at Big Bear Lake; but most of all, riding the Harleys with her nephews.
In addition to her parents, Debra was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lee Cooper.
Debra is survived by her two siblings, Mary Horr and her husband, Steve of West Alexander, PA, Carl Edward Clouser and his wife, Tanalea of Washington, PA, three nephews, Douglas Horr and his wife, Nicole, Scott Horr and his wife, Holly and Eric Horr and his wife, Cassie, 10 great nieces and nephews, a great great niece and three step-children, Marcie Lynn Cooper, Marie Cooper and Michael Lee Cooper.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 PM and again on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Service 10:30 AM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551 with Pastor Mark Perkins, officiating. Masks are requested.
Military Escort by the WV and PA Patriot Guard along with the Legion Riders of the Claysville American Legion to the scheduled 12:30 PM interment at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA with Military Honors by the WV Army National Guard and the Claysville American Legion.
