Obituary for Dianne Lynn Martin
Dianne Lynn Martin, 66 of Weirton, WV, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Stonerise, Wellsburg, WV, after a brief illness.
Dianne was born on November 6, 1955 in Weirton, WV. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Ella Irean (Watson) Martin.
Dianne was a lifelong resident of Weirton, WV and worked as a cake decorator for Dairy Queen for 45 years and later Sam’s Club. Many will remember Dianne for her love of Barry Manilow and her deep faith in God being a member of the Paris Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her five sisters, Beverly Martin, Charlene Martin, Barbara Carroll, Linda Hurst and Waveline Martin, two step-brothers, Kenneth Martin Sr. and Gary Martin and a nephew, George Hurst Sr.
Dianne is survived by her brother, Randy Martin and his wife, Stephanie of Steubenville, OH, three nephews, Michael Hurst and his wife, Nicole, Joe Carroll and Kenneth Martin, seven great nieces and nephews, Charlene, Helena and Christian Hurst, Eli Freemantle, Georgie Hurst and Maverick and Salem Hurst, her beloved dog and constant companion, Scrappy and her church family and friends.
Dianne will be greatly loved forever and missed by family, friends, her church family of the Paris Church of the Nazarene led by Pastor Joe Ryan and his wife, Bobbi and her neighbors of Freedom Place Tower 1 in Weirton, WV.
A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Paris Church of the Nazarene, Paris, PA with Pastor Joe Ryan, officiating.
