Obituary for Dixie Lee Ohler (Conahan)

Dixie Lee (Conahan) Ohler, 92 of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 7:54 AM on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at her residence.

Dixie was born on August 16, 1929 in Boswell, PA. She was the daughter of the late John and Edna (Hanley) Conahan.

Dixie was a homemaker that enjoyed General Hospital, reading, puzzles, Jeopardy, going fishing, but most of all for sitting on her front porch.

In addition to her parents, Dixie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ohler Sr., an infant son, Roy, a beloved daughter-in-law, Annie Ohler, six siblings, Richard, Jacob, Betty, Winifred, Dorothy and Dolores.

Dixie is survived by her three children, Robert Ohler Jr and his significant other, Elizabeth Bertram of McKinleyville, WV, Ruth "Sis" Jackson and her husband, Bruce of Virginia and Marsha "Susie" Queen and her husband, Tom of Follansbee, WV, five grandchildren, Kim Owings and her significant other, Randy of South Carolina, Marc Ohler and his wife, Melonie of Ohio, Amy Floyd and her husband, Shawn of Virginia, Robbie Jackson of Virginia and Brittany Dolly and her husband, Brandon of West Virginia, three great grandchildren, Erica Offenberger and her husband, Shawn of West Virginia, JT Ohler of West Virginia and Kavi Jackson of Virginia and a great great granddaughter, Sophie Lee Offenberger and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 PM and again on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 12 Noon at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551, with Reveremd Brian Knight, officiating. Mask are PREFERRED during your time at the Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
