Donald Lee McCloud, 66, of Scio, OH, passed away at 5:05 PM on May 16, 2017 at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV.

Donald was born on July 7, 1950 in Logan, WV. He was the son of the late Robert McCloud and Emma (Adams) McCloud.

Donald worked as a Captain on Riverboats sailing on the Ohio River. Many will remember Donald for being the World’s Best Pappy.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara McCloud.

Donald is survived by his life partner, Mary Wilson of Scio, OH, three children, Michael McCloud of Wellsburg, WV, David McCloud and his wife, Theresa of Wintersville, OH, and Susan Stevens of Weirton, WV, eight grandchildren, Kristin, Makaya, Morgan, Shelby, Aiyana, Trinity, Cherokee, and Cheyenne, three great grandchildren, Isabella, Raelynn, and Conner.

Private family services will be held at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551 with Interment following at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV, with Reverend Margie Carr, Officiating.
