I wanted to leave a message for Janice and Eddie. I appreciated the way your mother and my mother loved one another as neighbors. I loved the way my Daddy loved Eddie as if he was his own when you were a baby. I have pictures of Daddy pushing Eddie in the stroller. And I appreciate the way Eddie loved our son, Jason, when we was a baby as if to reciprocate the love shown to him. Eleanor was so good to me...……..lending party dresses to wear to college dances. I know she appreciated me too for sleeping over when Ed was working night turn and coloring her hair. Love to you kids. Kids to me still since I was 17 when we moved there. I think Janice was like 1 or 2 and Ellie was pregnant with Eddie.

Dear Janice and Eddy, Sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. She was a wonderful neighbor and a really good friend to my Mother. I always remember their "evening teas" where she could smoke her cigarettes and my Dad would always bum a couple. I wish you comfort and blessings. Best regards, John DeSantis

Dear Jan & Ed,

It is so hard to have your mother died. She has been a constant in your life since it began. She found joy in you from your childhood to teenager to adult. You are blessed that you had the time to know her as an adult friend and confidante. She enjoyed great happiness in her family. We are so glad we had the opportunity to see her this fall and she was telling stories and sharing memories. May your families treasure and find comfort in the memories
