Obituary for Elizabeth "Liz" Ann (Casini) Dalesio
Elizabeth “Liz” Ann (Casini) Dalesio, 91, of Follansbee, WV, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Golden Oaks.
Elizabeth was born on April 4, 1928 in Follansbee, WV. She was the daughter of the late Biagio and Giacinta Casini.
Elizabeth was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She volunteered at the Clothes Closet and R.E.A.C.H. for nearly 23 years. Many will remember Elizabeth for her love of gardening.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Dalesio in 1994 and all of her siblings.
Elizabeth is survived by her four children, Diane (Matthew) D'Andrea of Florida, John (Kathy) Dalesio of Weirton, WV, Gary (Vicky Kovach) Dalesio and David Dalesio, both of Follansbee, WV; five grandchildren, Jason and Channon Donovan, Vince and Dana Dalesio, Darcy Dalesio, Bryan and Jonna Dalesio, and Lindsay and Tim Popplewell; five great grandchildren, Finn, Genevieve, Cassidy, Delaney and Violet Elizabeth and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private Family Viewing and Service was held at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717 with family member, Pastor George Gerbo, officiating.
Entombment followed at St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton, WV.
