Obituary for Eva Mary Belle (Mozingo) Brown
Eva Mary Belle (Mozingo) Brown of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 3:16 AM on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital.
Eva was born on March 13, 1928 in Beech Bottom, WV. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Thressia (Stevens) Mozingo.
Eva was a member of the Rush Run Community Chapel and the Wellsburg Moose Lodge. Many will remember Eva for her love of the Pirates Baseball, reading continually to include her Hollywood Magazines, and playing Bingo and card games.
In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Alvin “Bud” Brown, two brothers, Robert and Clarence Mozingo and two sons-in-law, John Fowler and Archie Crawford.
Eva is survived by four children, Charles Brown and his wife, Paula of Glen Dale, WV, Joyce Fowler of Dillonvale, OH, Margie Doan and her husband, Raymond of Rush Run, OH, Thomas O. Brown and his wife, Lori of Dillonvale, OH, 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.
Family and Friends will be received on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00PM with Women of the Moose Service at 7:00 PM and again on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of Service at 11:00AM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551 with Pastor Dave Green, officiating.
Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV.
