Obituary for Evelyn Virginia Robinson (Fisher)
Evelyn Virginia (Fisher) Robinson, 75 of Follansbee, WV, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at her home surrounded by her children.
Evelyn was born on June 17, 1947 in Follansbee, WV. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas Fisher and Helen (Churchman) Fisher.
Evelyn worked at the former family restaurant, Bryan’s Restaurant, Follansbee, WV in addition to working in the dietary department at Trinity as a Nutrition Clerk. Many will remember Evelyn for her love of baking and spoiling her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her three siblings, Mary Ann Sayre, Helen Braun and David Fisher.
Evelyn is survived by her three children, Valerie Robinson of Wellsburg, WV, Anthony “Tony” Robinson and his spouse, Candice Tharp of Follansbee, WV and Paul M. Robinson of Mt. Juliet, TN, four grandchildren, Zane, Ian and Austin Robinson and Becca Morefield and her spouse, William Boyd, three siblings, Tom Fisher and his wife, Kay of Follansbee, WV and Kathy Younciak and her husband, Jeff, and Kevin Fisher and his wife, Lori, all of Follansbee, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717.
Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV.
