Harold Raymond Poland, 61 of Wellsburg, WV, passed away in his sleep at his residence on Monday, August 26, 2019.
Harold was born on April 25, 1958 in Wheeling, WV. He was son of the late Harold Francis Poland and Mary (Brown) Poland.
Harold was a member of the Nazarene Church and served proudly in the United States Army as a SP4. He received is Army Service Ribbon, Army Achievement Medal 3rd Oak Leaf Cluster, the Overseas Service Ribbon, Marksman Marksmanship Badge Rifle, M-16 Marksman Marksmanship Badge Grenade.
Harold is survived by his four siblings, William Poland, Mary Jane Tressler, and Barbara Ann Poland, all of Wellsburg, WV and Edward Poland and his wife, Linda of Beech Bottom, WV, two nieces, Danyiel D. Lunsford and her husband, Michael. Megan Fleegle and her husband, Rodney, two nephews, Eric D. Tressler and Zachary Poland, two great nephews, Elan Lunsford and Tre Fleegle and two great nieces, Reagan Fleegle and Dawn Skye Neil.
A military graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA, with funeral celebrant, Eric Fithyan, presiding and Military Honors by the WV Army National Guard.
