Obituary for Hazel Irene (White) Cunningham
Hazel Irene (White) Cunningham, 82, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 8:15 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at her residence under the care of her husband and Valley Hospice.
Hazel was born on November 17, 1936 in Beech Bottom, WV. She was the daughter of the late James and Gladys (Morrow) White.
Hazel was a member of the Apostolics of the Ohio Valley, Beech Bottom, WV. She was the best housewife, who also ironed for numerous people in the neighborhood. In her spare time when not attending church, Hazel loved to needle point and color with pencils. Many will remember Hazel from her childhood when she roller skated all the time.
In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her two siblings, Robert White and Myrtle Beanim

Hazel is survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Robert Cunningham of Wellsburg, WV, two children, Sharon Cunningham Kearns and her husband, Richard Kearns of Wellsburg, WV and Henry Cunningham of Jerusalem, Ohio, eight grandchildren, Shawn, Robert and Michael Groch, Traci McAdams, Blake Devier, Annie Jane Cunningham, Victoria Bowman, and Justin Casto, six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, two siblings, James White and Bertha Garnich, both of Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551, with Pastor Larry Wallbrown, officiating.
Interment will follow at Independence Cemetery, Avella, PA.
