Imogene Louise (Caldwell)  Patterson
Imogene Louise (Caldwell) Patterson, 90, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 8:18 PM on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Valley Haven Geriatric Center, Beech Bottom, WV.

Imogene was born on June 11, 1927 in Wellsburg, WV. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Goldie (Ralph) Caldwell.

Imogene worked as a plastic inspector at Gen Pak, Wellsburg, WV. Many will remember Imogene for her love of gardening and ceramic frogs; but most of all, her devoted love for her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Elwood Patterson, a grandson, Jonathon, four sisters, Ida Mae Hoit, Rita Ernest, Marcella Grimm, and Jane Dight, two brothers, William and Walter Ray Caldwell, a daughter-in-law, Rita Patterson, a brother-in-law, Alfred Chivers, a sister-in-law, Julie Caldwell.

Imogene is survived by her six children, Phillip Patterson, Edward Patterson, both of Wellsburg, WV, Christine Patterson of New Cumberland, WV, Rhoda (Clay) McAdoo, Terry Patterson, all of Wellsburg, WV, Tim Patterson and his companion, Debbie Wilkerson of Georgia, seven grandchildren, Mark Patterson, Tracy Robitt, Oscar and Jack Hoit, Travis McAdoo, Kayla Hunter and Nick Patterson, six great grandchildren, a sister, Norma Chivers of Wellsburg, WV, a brother, James Caldwell, three brothers-in-law, Eugene Grimm, Reverend Kenneth Dight, both of Wellsburg, WV and Roy Lee Ernest of Wheeling, WV, a sister-in-law, Ruth Caldwell of West Liberty, WV, her loving neighbors, Greg and Debbie and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 10:00 until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551, with her brother-in-law, Reverend Kenneth Dight, officiating
Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
