Obituary for Jacqueline Lucinda "Jackie" Rowing
Jacqueline “Jackie” Rowing, 73 of Weirton, WV, passed away at 8:10 AM on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at home.
Jackie was born on July 7, 1946 in Steubenville, OH. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Marie (Monfred)Yachini.
Jackie was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee, WV. Many will remember Jackie for being an amazing mother and nana who loved to cook and care for the World.
In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her six siblings, Marie Quattrocchi, Josephine Santoro, Yolanda White, Ester Zadzilko, and Robert Sr. and Anthony Yachini.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 53 years, Edward Rowing Sr. of Weirton, WV three children, Eddie Joe Rowing of Weirton, WV, Lisa Satiropoulis and her husband, Chris of Steubenville, OH and Jason Rowing and his wife, Courtney of Las Vegas, NV, six grandchildren, Richard Gibson, Jacqueline Crutchfield, Chelsea Gibson, Peter Satiropoulis, and Joseph and Ethan Rowing, two sisters, Antoinette Hesske and Joann Capriotti and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 7:00-9:00 PM with Vigil Service at 7:30 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717 where funeral will commence on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 9:30 AM.
Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1017 Jefferson Street, Follansbee, WV with Father Jude Perera, presiding.
Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV
Rest in Peace, My Dear Jackie, you have been the love of my Life for 53 years, May we meet again someday, sadly missed by our family, Lisa, Eddie Joe and Jason, God Bless and Keep you, my Love – your husband, Edward.
