Obituary

Jimmy Lee Murdock, 60, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 11:33 PM on Monday, April 29, 2019 in Wellsburg, WV.

Jimmy was born on November 15, 1958 in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of Joseph and Eileen (McCollister) Murdock.

He worked for Brooke Glass Factory and numerous construction jobs.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Murdock.

Jimmy is survived by his two brothers, Robert Murdock and his wife, Maridell and Tom Murdock and his wife, Tina, all of Wellsburg, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 6:00 until time of Funeral Service at 8:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551 with Russ Buchanan, officiating.

Interment will be private at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.

Prayers to the family of Jimmy. Jimmy was a friend of the Wellsburg Salvation Army and some of our staff as a personal friend from many years ago. We will miss seeing him. May your memories provide you with joy in your time of sorrow.

I am so sorry to here of jimmys passing. It has been years since i had seen jimmy. But do remember his friendship as kids growing up on charles street in wellsburg. RIP.
