Obituary for Johnny Robert Six
Johnny Robert Six, 69 of Follansbee, WV, passed away at 7:45 AM on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Mary Jane Brooks Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville, OH.
Johnny was born on December 26, 1949. He was the son of the late Fred and Wanda Six.
Johnny retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. in the Coke Plant. Many will remember Johnny for his love of riding his Harley and his dog, Bella and cat, Gracie; but most of all for the devotion and love of family especially his grandson.
In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda (Bounatsas) Six, two siblings, Gary Six and Mary Lou Six, and sister-in-law, Patty Marshall.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Darlene (Krency) Six of Follansbee, WV, three children, Robert Six of California, Brian Six and his wife, Jamie and Stacy Six, a grandson, Elijah Six, all of Follansbee, WV, a brother, Bill Six of Weirton, WV and a brother-in-law, Bill Marshall, a nephew, Michael Marshall and his wife, Shannon, and several cousin, nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Saturday from 12 Noon until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717.
Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, Colliers, WV.
