Obituary for Judy Lynn Stevens (DeGarmo)
Judy Lynn (DeGarmo) Stevens, 51 of Steubenville, OH, formerly of Wellsburg, WV, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at her residence.
Judy was born on February 13, 1971 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of the late George Cecil DeGarmo and Elizabeth May (Huff) DeGarmo Parks and her husband, Orman Parks.
Judy was a Christian by faith. Many will remember Judy for her love, devotion and compassion for Dogs. She cared for numerous dogs and found the unconditional love that they showed her and she showed them. In addition to loving dogs, Judy enjoyed watching a good episode of Ghost Hunters.
In addition to her parents and step father, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Garfield Stevens and brother, Cecil DeGarmo.
Judy is survived by her four children, Matthew Michael Stevens and his wife, Chasity of Wellsburg, WV, Sheba Stevens of Steubenville, OH, Mason Stevens of Steubenville, OH and Michael Stevens III of Wellsburg, WV, nine grandchildren, Kenestie, Landan, Exzavior, Annalynn, D’Ken, DaVeena, Aliesha, Mallory and Dakota, five siblings, George DeGarmo Jr. of Wellsburg, Wv, Denise DeGarmo of Mingo Junction, OH, Elizabeth Stevens of Follansbee, WV, Patricia DeGarmo of Steubenville, OH and James DeGarmo of Wellsburg, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 1:00 until time of Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551 with Reverend Christian Faulkner of the Wellsburg Full Gospel Apostolic Faith, presiding.
Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV, near her dear parents.
