Obituary for Julia Shaffer (Aracich)
Julia (Aracich) Shaffer, 88 of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 7:50 AM on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022 at WVU Continuous Care Center, Wheeling, WV.
Julia was born on June 26, 1933 in Windsor Heights. She was the daughter of the late Anthony Aracich and Julia (Kovacic) Aracich.
Julia was a homemaker who enjoyed music especially singing, loved to cook and had an eye for décor.
In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Russell E. Shaffer Sr., a son, Michael A. Shaffer, eight brothers and four sisters.
Julia is survived by her three children, Russell “Russ” E. Shaffer Jr. and his wife, Sheila, Jack J. Shaffer and his wife, Amy, all of Wellsburg and Faith “Faye” Ferrell and her husband, Richard of St. Clairsville, OH, ten grandchildren, Alicia Kusic, Nicole Baker, Jessica Gilbert, Wes Stoner, Brock and Eberle Ferrell, Zak, Colton, and Sandy Shaffer and Chasity Hart, 17 great-grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, two sisters, Marie Reck and Loretta Ciccarelli and many nieces and nephews.
Private family viewing and service will be held at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551 with Interment follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV.
