Obituary for Linda Mae Lemasters (Forrester)
Linda Mae (Forrester) Lemasters, 77 of Short Creek, WV, passed away at 3:11 PM on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at her residence under the care of her family with the assistance of Amedisys Hospice.
Linda was born on May 18, 1945 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of the late Stanley Forrester and Willetta (Nicholson) Forrester.
Linda was Christian by faith and worked for many years in retail at GC Murphy and in the family restaurant of Country Café and the Airport Snack Bar. Many will remember Linda for her love of playing golf with her husband, watching Westerns, travel; but most of all, going to yard sales, thrifty stores and flea markets with her family.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Russell Stanley Lemasters, 2021, four siblings, Bill Forrester, Robert “Bob” Forrester, Sharon Calendine and Sandy Inman.
Linda is survived by her husband, Russell E Lemasters Sr., two children, Timothy Ray Lemasters and his wife, Nicole and Kimberly F. Grall and her husband, Ronald, nine grandchildren, Breanna Jo Lemasters and her companion, Tyesha, Izabella Marie Lemasters and her husband, Gage Patterson, Russell Stanley Lemasters Jr., Camden Edward Lemasters, Christopher Grall and his wife, Amanda, Jared Grall, Amanda Lemasters, Jess Lemasters and Timothy Lemasters, six great grandchildren, Chelsea, Kason, Zayne, Hazlee, Zayden, and Abigail White and her husband, Anthony, two great great grandchildren, Kade and Cooper White, a sister, Christol Moore and numerous nieces and nephews.
