M. Ruth (Metz) Daines, 89 of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 1:50 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV.
Ruth was born on May 26, 1933 in Middleborne, WV. She was the daughter of the late Henry Metz and Ethel (Midcap) Metz.
Ruth was a member of the Church of Christ, Wellsburg, WV. Many will remember Ruth for her love and devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren always taking care of the family.
IN addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in by her husband, John Daines, five siblings, Pauline Weekley, Juanita Wellings, Kenneth Metz, Gene Metz and Bill Metz.
Ruth is survived by her four children, Pam Cost and her husband, David, Patricia Brewer and her husband, David, Joyce Baker and her husband, Ralph and Bill Daines and his wife, Robin, 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
