Obituary for Mable Frances (Dobbs) Iverson
Mable Frances (Dobbs) Iverson, 69 of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 1:28 AM on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at her residence under the care of her family and Amedisys Hospice.
Mable was born on October 27, 1949 in Cameron, WV. She was the daughter of the late George F. and Mable V. (Mashall) Dobbs.
Mable was a member of McKinleyville Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School for many years. She worked at West Liberty University in Food Service and later as a home health care aid. Many will remember Mable for her unending faith, love of crosswords, scrabble and words with friends and making crafts.
In addition to her parents, Mable was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Richard Iverson.
Mable is survived by her husband of 45 years, William “Bill” Iverson of Wellsburg, WV, four children, Fran Adams of Wheeling, WV, Kenneth Iverson Sr., Steven Iverson and his wife, Debbie, and Tim Iverson, all of Wellsburg, WV, seven grandchildren, Jacob Adams, Sebastian Adams, Nathaniel Bender, Kenneth Iverson Jr., Shaylee Iverson, Trina Iverson and Steven Iverson II, a great grandson, Riley, four siblings, Charles Dobbs and his wife, Judy of Wellsburg, WV, Ruby Wolfe of Wheeling, WV, Sara Iverson of Wellsburg, WV and Robert Dobbs, Sr. of Follansbee, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551.
