Mable Virginia (Marshall) Dobbs, 91, of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 11:30 PM on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at her residence under the care of her family and Amedisys Hospice.

Virginia was born on March 28, 1927 in Cameron, WV. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Lucy (Church) Marshall.

Virginia was a dedicated member of 53 years of the McKinleyville Church of Christ. She worked at Bethany College and the former Jones Nursing Home as a cook. Many will remember her for her love of cooking especially noddles, sewing, crafting, and gardening; but most of all, her homemade stuff animals.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, George Dobbs, three brothers, Wilbert Marshall, Tom Marshall and Glen Marshall.

Virginia is survived by her five children, Charles Dobbs and his wife, Judy of Wellsburg, WV, Ruby Wolfe of Wheeling, WV, Mable Iverson and her husband, Bill of Wellsburg, Sara Iverson and her husband, Richard of Wellsburg, WV and Robert Dobbs, Sr. of Follansbee, WV, 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, two brothers, Paul Marshall and his wife, Betty of Alliance, OH and Earl Marshall and his wife, Sarah of Alliance, OH, a sister, Lillian Cremeans of Hartsville, OH and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 3:00 PM until time of Funeral Service at 7:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551 with Minister Larry Lemasters, officiating.

Interment will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Salem Church of Christ Cemetery, Glen Easton, WV.
