Marcella Gwen (Vaughn) Cunningham, 62, of Wheeling, WV, passed away 11:30 PM on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at OVMC, Wheeling, WV after a long and courageous battle against Diabetes.

Marcella was born on June 2, 1955 in Parkersburg, WV. She was the daughter of the late James Carlton Vaughn and Beulah (Eddy) Vaughn Kranske. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, John Kranske.

Marcella was a member of the National Road Church of Christ, Wheeling, WV. She was a 1973 graduate of Brooke High School. Marcella worked at Convenient Food Mart, Warwood, WV, Rite Aid and Super 8 Hotel, Elm Grove, WV and Hills Department Store. She was a wonderful wife, mom, and meme, who enjoyed gardening, flowers, and crocheting.

Marcella is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Melvin Cunningham of Wheeling, two daughters, Katrina Davis of Wheeling and Melanie Humes and her husband, Sonny of Warwood, four granddaughters, Jillian Davis, Hanna, Kayla and Madison Cunningham, three sisters, Teresa Sovinski of Follansbee, Cheryl (Joseph) Mills of Windsor Heights, and Janet (Bob) Wise of West Liberty, three brothers, Steven Vaughn of Windsor Heights, Mark (Lisa) Vaughn of La Place, LA, Chris (Lisa) Kranske of Warwood, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551 and again on Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the National Road Church of Christ, 1310 National Road, Wheeling, WV with her Uncle, Minister Robert "Bob" Eddy, officiating.

Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV.
