Obituary for Marguerite Sharp "Peggy" Wilhelm (Becker)
Marguerite (Peggy) Sharp Becker Wilhelm, 80 of Triadelphia, WV, passed away at 12:50 AM on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Home of the Good Shepherd, Wheeling, WV.
Peggy was born on October 31, 1941, in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of the late Clarence A. Becker and Minnie Marguerite (Sharp) Becker.
Peggy was a bookkeeper for several local veterinarians when she was not working with Wayne on the family farm. She was a member of the Women’s Club of Wheeling, D.A.R., the West Liberty Homemaker’s Club and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Wilhelm, her brother, Donald Becker, and her nephew, Mac Becker.
Peggy is survived by her four children, Becky Padden of Wheeling, WV, John Lee Wilhelm, of Triadelphia, WV, Nathan Wilhelm, and Anne Carroll and her husband, Kevin, all of Wheeling, WV, seven grandchildren, Alea Padden of Des Moines, IA, Braeden Carroll, Andrew Wilhelm, Ashton Carroll, Marie Wilhelm, Caeden Carroll, and Addi Carroll all of Wheeling, WV, as well as her niece, Mary Becker Mason (Rick) of Cranberry Township, PA.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 2:00-6:00 PM and again on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551 with Pastor Dennis Arnold, officiating.
Interment will follow at Independence Cemetery, Avella, PA. Lunch to follow at West Liberty Christian Church.
