Obituary for Marie Rogers (Geist)
Marie (Geist) Rogers, 99, of Brandon, Florida, formerly of Steubenville, Ohio passed peacefully in her sleep Monday, March 28th, 2022.
She was born on March 7, 1923 to Harry and Marie (Piorkowski) Geist, Jr.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband Robert Rogers and her sister Betty (‘Bob’) Uhlig.
Marie is survived by her three daughters, Sharron Morrison, Sandra Simons, and Linda (Delmas) Shiflett, a son, Robert (Carol) Rogers, a brother, Harry Geist III as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon, Florida.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV, interment will follow next to her dearly loved husband, Bob.
