Obituary for Marjorie Sue "Tootie" Hamilton (Hunter)

Marjorie “Tootie” Sue (Hunter) Hamilton, 70 of Steubenville, OH, passed away at 12:51 AM on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Trinity Medical Center, ER, Steubenville, OH.

Marjorie was born on April 27, 1950 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of the late Harold Hunter and Rachel (Wells) Hunter.

Many will remember Marjorie for her love of Country Music especially “Strawberry Wine”, Bingo and drawing.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Rohrabaugh.

Marjorie is survived by her six children, Bobby Lancaster of Steubenville, OH, Lisa Lancaster and her boyfriend, James Wellman of Steubenville, OH, Jerry Miller and his wife, Jessie of Wellsburg, WV, Michelle Galiano of Follansbee, WV, Karen Suttles and her husband, Jason of Toronto, OH and Crystal Adams of Steubenville, OH, 15 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three siblings, Harold Hunter and his wife, Wendy, WV, Marilyn Hunter and Jackie Varlas and her husband, Tony, a brother-in-law, Jack Rohrabaugh, all of Follansbee, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 17, 2021 6:00 PM until time of Funeral Service at 8:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551 with Funeral Chaplain, Reverend Sharon Van Dam, officiating.
