Obituary for Marsha Ann Gatts (Coulter)
Marsha Ann (Coulter) Gatts, 66 of Bloomingdale, OH passed away peacefully at 10:35 AM on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at her residence under the care of her loving husband and family with gracious support of Charity Hospice.
Marsha was born on January 19, 1953 in Follansbee, WV. She was the daughter of June Ann (Kilpatrick) Coulter and the late Donald L. Coulter.
Marsha had a servants kind and loving heart, always there for those in need. She was the true meaning of a wife, mother and friend, living her life to make others' lives happy and more fulfilling. She enjoyed so many pastimes including square dancing, quilting, jigsaw puzzles and travel, but her real love was making new friends and helping others . Many will remember Marsha for her ability to convert any stranger to friend.
In addition to her father, Marsha was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Fisher.
In addition to her mother, Marsha is survived by her husband, Harry Gatts, 10 children, Robert Coulter of Elm Grove, WV, Lori Williams of Greensboro, NC, Mary & husband, Ned Fisher of Leesburg, FL, Sandra & husband, Lawrence Chilongu of Monaca, PA, James & wife, Lisa Bogo of Weirton, WV, Michelle & husband, Danny Corso of Follansbee, WV, Steffanie & husband, Andra Crossland of Weirton, WV, Justin Moore and Eric Moore, both of Follansbee, WV, and Spencer Gatts of Bloomingdale, OH, 19 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, three siblings, Donna Miller of Butler, PA, George Coulter of Vista, CA and Jerry Coulter of Fenelton, PA, her sweet dog, Molly and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 2:00 until time of Funeral Service at 5:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717.
Interment will be held privately at St. John Cemetery, Colliers, WV.
