Marvel A. Virtue, 92, of Follansbee, WV, passed away at 9:40 PM on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at her residence under the care of her caregivers with the assistance of Valley Hospice.

Marvel was born on June 7, 1930 in Follansbee, WV. She was the daughter of the late Howard “Buss” and Elva (Campbell) Verner.

Marvel was the owner and operator Del-Rene's Wigs for many years as well as working in sales as an executive with WSTV and WRKY in addition to reaching General Manager at WEIR Radio. Many will remember Marvel for always being dressed for success in coordinating outfits with matching rings, earrings and shoes and perfect nails.

In addition to her parents, Marvel was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Clarence Robert Virtue.

Marvel is survived by her two grandchildren, Chris and Christina, five great granddaughters and a great great grandson.
