Mary Louise “Mary Lou” Warden, 73 of Wellsburg, WV passed away at 8:45 AM on Friday, June 25, 2021 at the Valley Hospice, Steubenville, OH.
Mary Lou was born on Sept 21, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA. She was the daughter of the late William A. Warden and Hazel (Tennant) Warden.
Mary Lou served in the United States Army. She retired from Pillsbury Co. and ADM Milling, Wellsburg, WV. Mary Lou attended the Christian Church. Many will remember Mary Lou for her love of reading, gambling, BINGO, the ocean and the Steelers; but most of all, her beloved animals.
In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her sister, Sally Ann Sucic.
Mary Lou is survived by her sister, Wilhelmina Compher, five nieces and nephews, Kimmy Hepner, husband, Mike, Jimmy Compher, wife, Jen, Mary Ann Compher, Bill Sucic and Sally Rushton, husband, Alex and numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551, Funeral Service and Military Honors will follow at 3:30 PM at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV, where interment will occur.
