Obituary for Nancy Davis (Sanderson)
Nancy Sanderson Davis, 89, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Forest Hill Care Center in St. Clairsville, OH.
Nancy was born on June 16, 1933 in Wellsburg, WV. She was the only child of the late Edward and Pauline (Noland) Sanderson. Nancy attended Wellsburg High School graduating in 1951. She married Robert Davis in 1952. She, a Catholic by faith, was extremely proud of her large family and was always happy when her family was together laughing and having fun. Nancy’s greatest love was spending time with and worshiping Jesus Christ. Family and friends will miss Nancy’s sass and spunk as well as her infectious laugh.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert.
Nancy is survived by her two daughters, Linda McAfee of St. Clairsville, OH and Diane Robison of Martins Ferry, OH, eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Wellsburg, WV with Father Justin Golna, presiding.
Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
