Obituary for Nancy Lee Tennant (Maidens)
Nancy Lee (Maidens) Tennant, 72 of Windsor Heights, WV, passed away at 6:30 AM peacefully on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Liza’s Place, Wheeling, WV.
Nancy was born on June 5, 1947 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of the Daniel W. Maidens and Nellie V. (Brothers) Maidens.
Nancy was a social butterfly who loved everyone and enjoyed daily word searches. She was a faithful member of the Beech Bottom Community Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Tennant, a daughter, Dandanette Mendoza, a grandson, Shane Tennant, two brothers including Richard “Dick” Maidens recently passed away and three sisters.
Nancy is survived by her two children, William “Terry” Tennant and his wife, Carrie of Beech Bottom, WV and Tammy Hlebiczki of Short Creek, WV, nine grandchildren, Terry, Cole and Madison Tennant, Dillon, Jesse and Cheyenne Mendoza, Andrea Millhouse and Sammy and Robert Hlebiczki, five great grandchildren, three sisters, Betty Courtney of Charlotte, NC, Martha O’Brinar of Blacklick, OH and Shirley Amos of Paden City, WV, a sister-in-law, Jean Maidens of Moundsville, WV, several numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Dino.
