Obituary for Paul Conrad Misch

Paul Conrad Misch, 64, of Colliers, WV, passed away at 2:18 AM on Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Mary Jane Brooks Valley Hospice Care Center, Steubenville, OH.

Paul was born on May 20, 1954 in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of the late Henry C. and Betty (Wise) Misch.

Paul was raised in the United Methodist Church and was a 1972 graduate of Brooke High School where he played football and lettered all four years. He went on to WV Institute of Technology. Paul retired after 33 years of service at Weirton Steel Corp. He was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 Year Club, NRA, Weirton Bowling Association and the Brooke County Sportsman Club. Many will remember Paul for his love of motorcycles, sports, hunting, bowling and golfing; but most of all for being a family man.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his two sisters, Baby Connie Misch and Henrietta Fox.

Paul is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carol (Fabian) Misch of Colliers, WV, three children, Paul Misch Jr. and his wife, Melissa of Scott Depot, WV, Stephanie Ramer and her husband, Mark and Darcy Clark and her husband, David, all of Beaver, PA, six grandchildren, Avery Ziarko and Markie Ramer, Ethan and Alivia Clark and Peyton and Carolyn Misch, who he loved spending time with, mother-in-law, Donna Fabian of Colliers, WV, and many extended family and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, March 17, 2019 2:00-8:00 PM and again on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 10:00 until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV, (304) 737-3551 with Reverend Larry Barkley, close friend and co-worker, officiating.

Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital, C/O Chambers Funeral Home, 1030 Main Street, Wellsburg, WV 26070.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring and dedicated nurses and staff at Trinity Hospital ICU and Valley Hospice.
