Obituary for Paula Jean Davis (Gaston)
Paula Jean (Gaston) Davis, 66 of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV.
Paula was born on March 25, 1955 in Follansbee, WV. She was the daughter of the late Carmi David Gaston and Grace O'Dell (Hayes) Gaston.
Paula worked as a nurser's aide at Weirton Medical Center and as a home health aide. Many will remember Paula for her enjoyment of playing cards and cooking, watching Days of our Lives, Travel Channel and old Westerns; but most of all, her unfailing love and time spent with her family.
In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her three brothers, Lawrence, Leon and Stanley Gaston.
Paula is survived by her significant other, Thomas Brookens of Wellsburg, WV, three daughters, Maurita Somerville and her spouse, Tricia of Weirton, WV, Kiera Davis of Weirton, WV, and Karisa King and her spouse, Lavar of Wintersville, OH, five grandchildren, Raven Kelley, Bryce Gaston, Gage Stevens, Sonic Palmer and Marceline Palmer and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 11 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1 PM at James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717.
Interment followed at Franklin Cemetery, Wellsburg, WV.
