Obituary for Paula Jo Elliott
Paula Jo Elliott, 54 of Lisbon, OH, passed away suddenly as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 in Columbiana County, OH.
Paula Jo was born on June 17, 1965 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of Linda Joan (Tredway) Elliott of Wellsburg, WV and the late Harold Earl Elliott.
Paula Jo was a 1983 graduate from Brooke High School. She served in the United States Army as a Private First Class (E-3) receiving the Marksman and Sharpshooter Badges. Paula Jo graduated from West Liberty University earning her Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Communication and English Literature. Many will remember Paula Jo for her love of animals, gardens and her family; but most of all, for her laughter, smiles and love of the earth.
In addition to her mom, Paula Jo is survived by her daughter, Theresa Jo Elliott of Lisbon, OH; seven siblings, Tamara Lynn Elliott of Wellsburg, WV, Tonia Rae (Thomas) Lohsandt of Walland, TN, Harold Edward "Eddie" (Carlos Eduardo) Elliott of New York City, NY, Scott (Tracey) Elliott of Wellsburg, WV, Kelly Sue (Andrew) Alderman of Broxton, GA, Troy (Judy) Elliott, and Todd (Yolanda) Elliott both of Wellsburg, WV; 14 nieces and nephews, Johnny, Laken, Remi, Ashton, Tate, Tucker, Achilles, Arolyn, Amos, Lucas, Ben, Maria, Drake, and Lance; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, May 23, 2020 from 12 Noon til 1:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551. Interment will follow with Military Honors at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV. Please note that limited access and social distancing will be in place during visitation and funeral service, all attendees will be required to wear a mask or face covering and hand sanitizer station will be available.
