Obituary for Pete Franklin Riggs
Pete Franklin Riggs, the beloved furry friend, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023 at his home with his parents by his side after a lengthy illness.
Pete was born in April 2008. He was one of the friendly bunch of the household always sunbathing. Pete would await bakery treats his family would buy him for being a good boy and performing his many tricks. When Pete was not sunbathing, he would be found playing with his siblings or camping with this family. Most of all, Pete loved to go for car rides. He will always be remembered in love for being a smart dog and his never ending love.
Pete was preceded to Rainbow Bridge by his siblings, Smoke and Sweetie where they will now run, play and sunbathe just as they always did with youth and vigor.
Pete is survived by his parents, Josh and Carol Riggs, siblings, Madison and Justin and furry siblings, Chewy and Sophie.
Pete was the best dog and furry companion to the Riggs family and will always be remembered by them. He will wait with his siblings at Rainbow Bridge until the grand reuniting as they all walk together over the bridge.
A Private Pet Cremation was under the care and direction of the James Funeral Home of Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717 who was honored to assist the Riggs Family.
