Obituary for Richard Lee Lantz
Richard Lee Lantz, 68 of Colliers, WV, passed away at 8:50 AM on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
Richard was born on March 5, 1955 in Steubenville, OH. He was the son of Emmett Lantz of Follansbee, WV and the late Carole (Allsopp) Lantz.
Richard was self-employed as a Brick Layer. He was a member of the Follansbee United Methodist Church. Richard was an Eagle Scout and recently became a member of the Follansbee Lions Club.
In addition to his mother, Richard was preceded in death by his uncle, Leonard Allsopp.
In addition to his father, Richard is survived by his sister, Karen Fierbaugh and her husband, Michael of Bowerston, OH, two nephews, Jeremiah (Mary Sue) Fierbaugh and Luke (Tabitha) Fierbaugh, great nieces and great nephews, an uncle, John Allsopp and cousins.
Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 5:00-8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717, with Pastor Penny Calmbacher, officiating.
Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV
