Obituary for Richard Henry Tredway
Richard Henry Tredway, 61 of Weirton, WV, passed away at 6:12 AM on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital.
Richard was born on January 29, 1961 in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of the late Harry Eugene Tredway Sr. and Norvelle (Mears) McQuillian.
Richard worked as a Truck Driver for over 25 years. Many will remember Richard for his love of playing pool and his family especially his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his four siblings, Raynell Reintzel, Becky Tredway, Florine McQuillian, Robert Tredway and Jerry Tredway.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Deborah (Galyean) Tredway of Weirton, WV, two children, Tangena McGowan and Sam Elson, three siblings, Harry Eugene Tredway Jr., Floyd “Junior” McQuillian Jr., and William “Sam” McQuillian, 15 nieces and nephews, and number great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 3:00 until time of Funeral Service at 5:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717 with Pastor Dan Copeland, officiating. Following the service, Richard will be cremated and taken home with his wife.
