Obituary for Ronald Lee Davis
Ronald Lee Davis, 85 of Steubenville, OH passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 21, 2022 at his residence.
Ronald was born on October 23, 1936 in East Liverpool, OH. He was the son of the late Floyd Davis and Dorothy (Mort) Hall and Lester Hall.
Ronald served his country proudly in the United States Army in Japan for several years. He retired after 40 years of service to Signode working in Steel Strapping. Many will remember Ronald for his love of the great outdoors, always hunting, fishing or hiking, watching football; but most of all, for his dedication to art through painting and sketching.
In addition to his parents and step-father, Ronald was preceded in death by his dear companion dog, Babe - a Brittany Breed and two brothers, James Davis and Little Jackie.
Ronald is survived by his four children, Tamra Davis of Weirton, WV, Jennifer Dankosky and her husband, John of Winsted, CT, Chad Davis of Burgettstown, PA and Ronnie Davis and his wife, Jessica of Perry, OH, two granddaughters, Zoe and Carmen Davis, a brother, Robert Davis of Indiana, a sister-in-law, Mary Davis of Wintersville, OH and several nieces and nephews.
Private viewing and service will be held at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717, with Pastor Timothy Kelley, officiating.
Private interment at St. John Cemetery Haven of Rest with Military Honors with the United States Army and Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
