Obituary for Sharon Rose Calendine (Forrester)
Sharon Rose (Forrester) Calendine, 78 of Beech Bottom, WV, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at her residence under the care of her family with the assistance of Amedisys Hospice.
Sharon was born on August 16, 1943 in Wheeling, WV. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Willetta (Nicholson) Forrester.
Sharon retired as head cook at Harrison Hills School District after 25 years of service. She was an active member of the First Church of God Wellsburg, WV where she participated in Bible Study. Many will remember Sharon for her love of gardening, reading and making wreaths and crafts.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Calendine Sr. , three siblings, Bill Forrester, Bob Forrester and Sandy Inman.
Sharon is survived by her two children, Richard Calendine Jr. and Regina Falter and her husband, Don of Hartville, OH, a granddaughter April Falter of New York City, NY, four siblings, Linda Lemasters, Christol Moore, Debbie Walter and Bill McGill and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Chamber s Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551 with Pastor James Seabright, officiating.
Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in Sharons’s name to St. Jude Children Hospital, C/o Chambers Funeral Home, 1030 Main Street, Wellsburg, WV 26070.
