Tammy Madonna Nixon, 60, of Follansbee, WV, passed away at 12:04 PM on Monday, October 9, 2017 at her residence.

Tammy was born on September 13, 1957. She was the daughter of Dixie (Mason) Suter of Wellsburg, WV and the late Charles Suter.

Tammy was Christian by faith. Many will remember Tammy for her love of God, reading the Bible, and proclaiming her faith; but most of all, being a wonderful mother and grandmother.

In addition to her father, Tammy was preceded in death by her brother, Duane Suter.

In addition to her mother, Tammy is survived by her three children, Justin Nixon of Wellsburg, WV, Erin Rebecca “Beck” Lizon of Wellsburg, WV and Elliot Ferrell of Wheeling, WV, three grandchildren, Hailey, Emily and Kyle, five siblings, Sharla Bulter and her husband, Steve, Christy Lynn, Erin Staffileno, Eric Suter and his wife, Wendy, and Tara Stillwell and her husband, Mike and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304) 737-3551

Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV.
