Obituary for Wayne Lee Wilhelm
Wayne Lee Wilhelm, 81, of Triadelphia, WV passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 in the afternoon at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Wayne was born on March 10, 1938 in Steubenville, OH. He was the son of the late Stanley G. Wilhelm and Elizabeth (Plummer) Wilhelm.
Wayne served his country in the United States Marine Corp and attended the former West Liberty State College. Wayne was a farmer his entire life - first with a dairy herd and then beef. He enjoyed studying agronomy and religion.
In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his infant twin sister, Elaine Lea Wilhelm.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Marguerite (Becker) Wilhelm of Triadelphia, WV, four children, Rebecca Padden, John Lee Wilhelm, both of Triadelphia, WV, Nathan Andrew Wilhelm and Anne Carroll and her husband, Kevin, all of Wheeling, WV, seven grandchildren, Alexandra Padden, Braeden Carroll, Andrew Wilhelm, Ashton Carroll, Marie Wilhelm, Caeden Carroll, and Addi Carroll.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551, with Dennis Arnold, officiating.
Interment will follow at Independence Cemetery, Avella, PA.
