Obituary for Martha Ann Spears

Martha Ann Spears, 46, of Colliers, WV, passed away on Friday, February, 26, 2016 at her residence under the care of Amedisys Hospice and her family.

Martha was born on December 24, 1969 in Bluefield, WV. She is the daughter of John and Margaret (Cleveland) Spears of Colliers, WV.

Martha worked numerous places including Family Dollar, Subway and DeStefano’s Restaurant, all of Follansbee, WV. Many will remember Martha for her love of Nascar, Jeff Gordon, Frogs and Carousels; but most of all, her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Martha is survived by her boyfriend of six years, John Palfalvy of Colliers, WV, three children, Toni (Bryant McClain) Mitchell of Follansbee, WV, John (Hailey) Mitchell of Follansbee, WV, and Kelli (Spencer)Trivoli of Colliers, WV, three grandchildren, Kylie and Chloe McClain and Kyrah Mitchell, a sister, Peggy Spears of Steubenville, OH, a brother, John Spears Jr. of Colliers, WV, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 4:00 until time of Funeral Service at 6:00 PM at the James Funeral Home, 1245 Main Street, Follansbee, WV (304) 527-1717 with her uncle, Pastor Frank Spears, Officiating.

Following the service, Martha will be cremated.
