Obituary for Gladys Lorraine Ice (Tredway)
Gladys Lorraine (Tredway) Ice, 81, of Pettit Heights, WV, passed away at 7:50 AM, on Sunday, November 08, 2015 at Brightwood Center, Follansbee, WV.
Gladys was born on October 15, 1934 in Ohio County, WV. She was the daughter of the late Benny Richard Sr. and Sarah Ann (Cornell) Tredway.
Gladys was a member of the Chapel Hill Christian Church, Beech Bottom, WV.
In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her dear husband, James Franklin Ice in 2013, four brothers, Robert, William, Benny, Eugene Tredway.
Gladys is survived by five children, Betty (Joel) Wolfe of Wellsburg, WV, Wayne F. (Connie) Ice Sr. of Springfield, VA, Randy J. (Debbie) Ice of IL, Debra S. Ice of Steubenville, OH, Gene (Yhang) Ice of Louisville, KY, ten grandchildren, Cliff Jr, Jayme, Wayne Jr., Sue Ann, Michelle, Courtney, Chelsea, Jim, Vickie, and Chris, 12 great grandchildren, two sisters, Pearl Martin of California, Carolyn Sue Zanes of Rayland, OH, a brother, Carl G. Treadway of Georgia, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM and again on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 9:00 until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at the Chambers Funeral Home, 1030 Main Street, Wellsburg, WV (304) 737-3551, with her nephew, Reverend Herb Zanes of the Tiltonsville Tabernacle Church.
Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV
